Album update from Cisco!

"HELLO MY FRIENDS...
So we are done recording the album officially which means we are now in the process of mixing. It is currently being mixed by Dave Pensado who is amazing and every few days we get a mix back and make our notes and so forth and are that much closer to getting the album out to you guys. I know summer is peeking her head around the corner and you all want to bump this thang on ur way to the beach or the club or the beach club. The most important thing for me is that this album is perfect. They always say you have your whole life to make your first album and only a few months to make your second. We set out to evolve and elaborate on the style you've all grown to love. i'd say the major difference with this album is that the last album rolled along at one steady pace while this one speeds up and slows down like your heartbeat when your in love. I made sure that it bumps in your car, moves your ass in the club, and makes you think all at the same time while still remaining undeniably "Shwayze." We have a few amazing features this time out as we have met so many amazing people on the road and in the streets and wanted to get our friends on the tracks. We have Snoop Dogg, The Knux, Tabi Bonney and the newest member of the Bananabeat crew, Chris Young the Rapper. Oh yeah...and our boy Darryl Jennifer from Bad Brains is playing bass on one of the tracks. Yes there is also a little cameo by Vince Vaughn but I don't know if he knows it yet...hehe! We also decided to throw Rock n' Roll on there because of all the love you guys showed it online. The whole record was recorded at Bananabeat Studios out here in the BU and was produced solely by me except for two tracks. One was co-produced by our homie KOJAK and another by Ric Ocasek from the Cars. We recorded the latter in Electric Lady Land studios where Jimmy Hendrix recorded his legendary songs. The vibe was thick to say the least. Sup' Jimmy! We are talking with the peeps at the label right now about the video and will have that thing banged out in the next month. I know I said the record would be out in July but it looks like it will be out in August like the last one. Just want everything to be perfect for you guys. This is a big one for us. I am a proud papa once again...my baby's name is LET IT BEAT! One record a year with a mixtape in Christmas isn't bad eh? Thats why we try to give you as much free music as possible in between records to hold you over. Believe me the sooner it can come out the better. The singles will be dropping very soon and as they do we will have them on iTunes and all that jazz so youll still be able to get your fix and sing along to the soundtrack of Summer '09 WE CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO HEAR IT!!!! We have been playing a few of the new songs out live and the response has been amazing...thanks for being the best fans/friends in the world. P.S. We also have some of the sickest remixes ever coming out and the plan is to put out a remix EP of the first single before the record drops...so don't worry we got your back!
