(LOS ANGELES, Calif., July 14, 2008) – After making its mark on the legendary West Hollywood scene for more than 16 years, SBE's The Abbey Food and Bar is bringing its signature sounds to music lovers and fans around the world with the launch of The Abbey Compilation, Vol. 1 on Suretone Records. The first in a series of compilations based on its renowned venues by hospitality leader SBE, The Abbey Compilation, Vol. 1 will be available in August at The Abbey and in early September on The Abbey website (www.sbe.com/abbey), at select retailers nationwide, and online via iTunes and Amazon.com.

Compiled by executive producer Manny Lehman, an internationally acclaimed DJ, producer and remixer, The Abbey Compilation, Vol. 1 features a mix of pop, techno, and dance music, capturing the heart and soul of one of the country's most famous hotspots and its unparalleled nightlife scene. Featured tracks, from artists including Enrique Iglesias, Pussycat Dolls, Shwayze, One Republic and more, have been remixed by some of the top producers in the industry to reflect The Abbey's unique flair.
